We are seeking a talented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our growing non-profit organization.
Came To Believe Recovery, Inc.(CTBR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing effective addiction recovery programs using the original 12-step program rooted in spiritual principles. We strive to create and promote opportunities for life-changing spiritual experiences for individuals and families suffering from all forms of addiction. CTBR provides the proven tools to begin a life free from brokenness and suffering, allowing individuals to thrive in all areas of their lives.
Responsibilities:
- General Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and other tasks as assigned to assist the CEO, Project Manager, and overall operational needs.
- Email and Mail Handling: Monitor and respond promptly to emails received through the organization’s website. Regularly check the organization’s P.O. Box and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Meeting & Events Coordination: Schedule and manage logistics for internal and external meetings. Support local events in the NYC area by attending and handling on-site logistics and coordination. Oversee the event registration platform and respond to participant inquiries.
- Travel Coordination: Assist with planning travel for retreats, including booking accommodations and tracking flight details for staff and participants.
- Banking Tasks: Deposit checks and maintain related financial records.
- Social Media Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule social media posts across platforms.
- Document Creation: Prepare reports and retreat-related documents and packets.
- Supplies and Merchandise Fulfillment: Order office supplies, retreat materials, and marketing collateral. Package and ship merchandise orders as needed.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS:
- Extensive Administrative Experience: Minimum of 10 years as an administrative assistant supporting multiple team members and management. Experience in a non-profit or medical setting is a plus.
- Remote Work Capability: Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment for approximately 25 hours per week.
- Event Support Availability: Willingness to travel occasionally to New York City to assist with events. Must reside locally to Morristown or Bedminster, NJ.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), databases, online travel platforms, and calendar management tools.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with a proactive and professional demeanor.
SALARY RANGE:
$25.00 TO $30.00 an hour.
